18th Separate Brigade of Army Aviation (named after Igor Sikorsky), was established in February 2015. In fact, the unit considers October 1 as its birthday, when the first Mi-8MSB-V helicopter appeared. The unit was formed on the basis of the 215th aviation commandant's office (military unit A2673) of the Air Force of Ukraine, which was a reserve airfield for fighters of the 831st Myrhorod Brigade. The brigade became the fourth such unit of army aviation within the Ground Forces of Ukraine.

This is the last mission in this series. The intention of these missions is to provide a good multiplayer experience for a group of 3-6 players flying any of the available helicopters. Note, as only one of my gaming friends owns the AH-64 it is not featured in the missions but can be added easily. The missions take place on the Caucasus and should provide a real challenge. I have added random scripts to the missions so that the enemy will not always appear in the same place or head for the same objectives. For the first and third missions the enemy is a tank and IFV/APC force so having Ka-50 or Mi-24's is a must. It is unlikely that you will succeed with only the Gazelle.

The 306th Tactical Fighter Squadron is a squadron of the 6th Air Wing of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JSDAF) based at Komatsu Air Base, in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. It is equipped with Mitsubishi F-15J/DJ and Kawasaki T-4 aircraft. This skin is a 'What If' the JSDF somehow, for some reason, had the F-15 S/MTD as a front-line tactical fighter.

This is the first in a group of three missions that covers the attack of a fictitious enemy force of regiment size against a small force supported by attack helicopters.

The intention of these missions is to provide a good multiplayer experience for a group of 3-6 players flying any of the available helicopters. Note, as only one of my gaming friends owns the AH-64 it is not featured in the missions but can be added easily. The missions take place on the Caucasus and should provide a real challenge. The Special Tail Design on F16 J-369 - 148 FS Kickin' Ass, the RNLAF F-16 OCU

A compilation of the statement by Aviation Artist Peter van Stigt on his fb page: "What could have been."

Sometimes, something is started but eventually is not to be.
It happens. This Special Tail design was never realised.
The end users, 148 FS Kickin' Ass, the RNLAF F-16 OCU which was embedded in the 162 FW, Arizona ANG, Morris AFB, Tucson, as stated by Boss Niki, were enthusiastic about it.
Last Summer 148 FS ended its training operations, its F-16's were retired.

INSTALL: To main game folder, NOT saved games (use JSGME/similar so you can reverse changes)
Don't forget to backup first.

VOLUME GREATLY REDUCED ON:
-ICS sound effects (jester menu sound on and off) was way too loud. Not affected by ICS volume

TOTALLY REMOVED:
-Callouts of locking friendlies that are based on aircraft type (always incorrect when flying F14 on red)
-Calling out fast on runway (when Jester falsely thinks its a taxiway)
-Bolter callouts and sink rate callouts (only allow comments AFTER landings)
-AAR comments

NEW VERSION 0.4 from 2024 Jan 24:
-More sink rate callouts removed
-Removed "friendly is down" calls in case of misclassification based on aircraft ype
-Removed "dirt" callouts, distracting with a lot of search radars
-Comments re CO Busting Balls

A nuisance SAM site has been set up on a remote Island. While it hasn't fired upon an aircraft, they have been locking onto both Civilian and Military aircraft flying in the area. Latest satellite images indicate that there is a single SAM site with 3 BMPs on the island.

VF-67, nicknamed the "Fighting Magicians," was established in late 1942 as an F6F Hellcat squadron, going on to fly other notable aircraft such as the F9F-6 Cougar and the F-4 Phantom II. In 1972 the squadron, along with VF-153 "Pit Vipers," became the first to transition into the F-14A Tomcat. They would not however be the first to score a kill with the fighter, but in its mere presence the first fourth-generation fighter was more than enough to deter Yuktobanian forces and their allies
